Chemlok 608 is a one-coat adhesive for bonding unvulcanized silicone elastomers to rigid substrates. It is intended for peroxide-cured VMQ, PMQ, and PVMQ compounds, including silicone systems that require post cure.

Application guidance
For metal substrates, remove oils, grease, rust, scale, and oxide coatings by suitable chemical or mechanical preparation. Apply Chemlok 608 as a uniformly thin coat. When dilution is required, use 5–10 parts methanol to 1 part Chemlok 608 by volume. Air-dry for 10–30 minutes at room temperature before further processing.
